Fathom is a dream pop duo from Sydney, who seamlessly blends synth pop and indie rock with dreamy and stream-of-conciousness lyrics. Their synth rock essence and moody songwriting is reminiscent of Beach House, Crumb, Mazzy Star and The Cranberries. After playing shows around Sydney since 2022, they made their festival debut in Deniliquin at the most recent Play on the Plains Festival, performing alongside King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizzard and Alex Lahey. Their recent EP ‘With Good Intentions’ came out late 2025, combining pop, rock, and T S Elliot poetry, which saw much success on Australian community radio as well as support from triple j’s Ebony Jade “This song gives me the same sort of feeling as Mazzy Star does whenever she finds her way into my playlist. Such a beautiful rainy day song” on the second track Paralysed. In mid-2026, Fathom will be attempting the Guinness World Record for the Most Concerts performed in 12 Hours (multiple cities), where they will play 9 shows in 12 hours across NSW and ACT.
