Greg Niven & The Forgotten Few

Greg Niven & The Forgotten Few:
Album Launch- Live at Sean & Dolly’s.
Greg Niven & The Forgotten Few arrive at Sean & Dolly’s to celebrate the launch of their long-awaited debut album,
My New Obsession – a collection of songs built on heartfelt storytelling, sharp observation, and the kind of heart you don’t fake.
Formed around the voice and vision of Greg Niven, the band brings together players who’ve done their time – pubs, clubs, and late-night jam rooms where you either earn your place or get swallowed whole. What started as a side project between mates has grown into something far more dangerous: a sound that’s raw, melodic, and unmistakably human.
My New Obsession traces that road. Longing. Re-discovery. Starting over when you swore you wouldn’t. It’s honest, a little weathered, and all the better for it.
The Forgotten Few wrap Greg’s voice in warm guitars, rhythmic grit, and a touch of nostalgia – familiar enough to pull you in, fresh enough to keep you there. This isn’t just a gig.
It’s the first full unveiling of a record built on persistence, passion, and too many late nights chasing the perfect line.
Expect tight musicianship, stories that actually mean something, and the kind of energy that only comes from a band with something to prove.
They’re ready. And they’re only just getting started.
Backing them:
House of Monkeys – a young Australian collective blending soul, blues, jazz and funk with a jam-first mentality. Loose, alive, and built on spontaneity. No two sets the same.
Plus UK singer / guitarist Christy McAllister — sharp, soulful, and not here to fade into the background.
Doors: 5:30pm.
Music: From 6:00pm ‘til late.
Tickets: $10 + BF
